Is the constitution text free?+
Yes. The complete text of every chapter and article is free to read, forever. Only the full audio narration is paid.
What do I get for free?+
All text, Chapter One's audio for every narrated country, search, bookmarks, progress tracking, and dark mode, at no cost. No account required.
How much is the full audio, and is there a subscription?+
Two options. Unlock one country's full narration with a one-time purchase (currently $5.99), or subscribe to Preamble Premium for every narrated country: $2.99/month or $29.99/year. Prices are localized by your app store. The one-time unlock never expires; the subscription lasts as long as it's active and renews automatically until cancelled.
I paid but the audio is locked, or I switched phones.+
Open the app and use Restore Purchases (in Settings). Your unlock is tied to your App Store or Google Play account and will return without paying again.
How do I cancel Preamble Premium?+
On iOS, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or the App Store → your account → Subscriptions. On Android, open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future charges and keeps access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Can I listen offline?+
Yes. Download any chapter from its download button, then it plays from your device with no connection needed. Manage downloads in Settings.
Which countries are available?+
More than twenty constitutions across Africa, the Americas, Europe, Asia and Oceania are free to read, including Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, the United States, Canada and Switzerland. Narrated audio is live for Ghana, Nigeria and the United States, with more being added.
